(Torts / Negligence / Foreseeability)
M saw dead flies in an unopened, replacement bottle of water.  He became obsessed with this, and developed a major depressive disorder, phobia and anxiety.  The Court dismissed M's claim against C, the manufacturer of the bottle of water, holding that M's damages are too remote to allow recovery.  It was not foreseeable that a person of ordinary fortitude would suffer serious injury from seeing flies in an unopened bottle of water.
