The video embedded below is the second video in a three part series explaining use of the accounting spreadsheet available for download.
Video #1 is a short video providing a brief overview of operation of the spreadsheet, just to provide an idea of what the spreadsheet is and how it works.
This video #2 explains basics of double entry accounting needed to understand how to keep a set of ledgers and an associated income statement and balance sheet, which, according to the accounting equation, must balance.
Video #3 is a longer video, explaining operation of the spreadsheet in detail, and showing a number of examples of how transactions are entered.
Available for download at the top of this page is a pdf document containing a script of the video in case you prefer to review the content of the video in written from rather than watching the video.
